Manage your workspace preferences, locale settings, and account.

Workspace

A workspace is the central container for everything you do in Viraly. It holds your brand profile, connected social accounts, content library, media assets, calendar, and billing plan. Every team member who joins shares the same workspace.

  • Each workspace has its own set of connected social accounts and publishing schedules
  • Brand settings (colors, fonts, logo, tone of voice) are workspace-level
  • Credits and billing are tied to the workspace, not to individual users
  • Content, media, and AI runs are all scoped to the workspace

Locale Preferences

Under Settings you can configure locale preferences that affect how Viraly generates content and schedules posts:

  • Country — sets the regional context for AI-generated content (local holidays, cultural references, trending topics)
  • Language — the primary language for generated content, overlay text, and AI agent conversations
  • Timezone — determines how scheduled times are displayed and when publishing jobs fire

These preferences are set during onboarding but can be updated at any time from the Settings page.

Delete Account

At the bottom of the Settings page you will find the Danger Zone. This section lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data.

What happens when you delete your account

Deleting your account is irreversible. The following data is permanently removed:

  • Your user profile and login credentials
  • All workspaces you own (including every workspace member's access)
  • All brand profiles, AI memory, and brand settings
  • All content items, variants, and publishing history
  • All media assets and AI-generated images/videos
  • All connected social accounts and their tokens
  • All scheduled and published jobs
  • All billing history and credit balances

How deletion works

To prevent accidental deletion, the process requires multiple confirmation steps:

  1. Click Delete my account in the Danger Zone
  2. Read the warning about what will be lost
  3. Review the list of consequences
  4. Type your email address to confirm — this final step triggers the permanent deletion

Active subscriptions are automatically cancelled when you delete your account. If you have a paid plan, consider downgrading to Free first and exporting any content you want to keep.

Data & Privacy

Viraly takes your data privacy seriously:

  • Social account tokens are encrypted at rest — Viraly never stores plaintext credentials
  • AI-generated content and images are scoped to your workspace and never shared
  • Website scan data (from onboarding) is used only to configure your brand profile
  • Deletion is permanent — Viraly does not retain backups of deleted accounts
